Kate is a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design and has been in the design and product development field for over 15 years. Her career began by designing media tie-in books for Nickelodeon while working at Simon and Schuster Publishing in New New York City. Later, she worked on designing a wide array of children' accessories – from watches and shoes to totes and backpacks — for Hello Kitty and many other popular licensed-character properties.
