Riley Blake Designs Brand "Sew Together" Kit. Pretty Plaid Quilt. This kit was designed specifically for Riley Blake Designs by Emily Taylor Designs. Kit uses fabric from Avignon also by Emily Taylor Designs .

Since 1993 Emily Taylor has been working as an artist. She began by knocking door to door in upscale neighborhoods to generate interest in her murals for laundry rooms and children’s nurseries. Soon she was in demand throughout the west, painting murals and decorative accents in homes and businesses.

From there, she developed original wall decals that looked like hand painting which were sold on QVC! However, it wasn’t until she became a mother that her focus shifted and she found her niche in fabric design.

Today, Emily defines herself as a diet-coke-drinking, PTA-participating wife & mama of three, who has the dream job of designing fabric for Riley Blake Designs.

When she’s not designing or mothering, she loves to mountain bike, swim, ski and play tennis with her family. She also aspires to be a domestic diva (and would love to get her house clean someday)!
