The Cotton Blossom Fabric Shoppe
The Cotton Blossom Fabric Shoppe began as an online fabric shop housed in a studio warehouse on our family farm in Madison County, Mississippi. The farm was a working cotton farm in the 19th Century and the old Cotton Blossom Gin sits on adjacent property. Today the farm is home to horses, donkeys, cows, chickens, and assorted dogs and cats. It is a place where grandchildren climb their favorite tree and sunsets are spectacular.
BUT! We outgrew our little studio warehouse and decided to move into town. Our first brick and mortar shop was in the Historic Main Street District of Madison, Mississippi. Our shop was next to the old train depot and the trains rumbled by every day. Occasionally we were greeted with a whistle by the conductors. We loved our beautiful shop there.
After four years in our little Madison shop, it was time to move again! We outgrew our building and needed room for more classes, more fabric and our complete line of beautiful Baby Lock sewing, quilting, and embroidery machines. Fortunately, we found the perfect spot, just two miles down the road in Ridgeland, Mississippi, right on Highway 51. So, in 2017 we packed up our fabric, notions, and machines and moved into our beautiful new location. Now we have 2000 square feet of fabric and notions and a HUGE classroom where we have lots of classes and FUN events.
Robin, Cathy, and the Cotton Blossom staff would love to help you with your next project!
