The Cotton Blossom Fabric Shoppe
The Cotton Blossom Fabric Shoppe began as an online fabric shop housed in a studio warehouse on a family farm in Madison County, Mississippi. The farm was a working cotton farm in the 19th Century and the old Cotton Blossom Gin sits on an adjacent property. Today the farm is home to horses, donkeys, cows, chickens, and assorted dogs and cats. It is a place where grandchildren climb their favorite tree and sunsets are spectacular.

Eventually the Shoppe outgrew the little studio warehouse and decided to move into town. The first brick and mortar shop was in the Historic Main Street District of Madison, Mississippi. The shop was next to the old train depot and you could hear the trains rumble by every day. Occasionally we were greeted with a whistle by the conductors.

After four years in the little Madison shop, it was time to move again! Cotton Blossom outgrew the building and needed room for classes, fabric and our complete line up of beautiful Baby Lock sewing, quilting, and embroidery machines. Fortunately, the perfect spot was found just two miles down the road in Ridgeland, Mississippi, right on Highway 51. So, in 2017 we packed up our fabric, notions, and machines and moved into our new location. The Shoppe has over 2000 square feet of fabric and notions, a HUGE classroom for basic sewing classes to advance quilting classes and special events. The Shoppe also has its own dedicated Machine Repair room.
