Harper is a fully-lined bubble for a girl or boy. The timeless bubble gathers onto a bodice with a raised waist and buttons in the back with a continuous bound placket. It features elastic casings at the legs with buttons at the crotch. You may customize this bubble in a variety of ways. For a girl, add a piped collar, sash, and/or angel sleeves. For a boy, make a tailored look with a collar and/or belt.

Supplies Needed:
Sewing machine that you know how to use, including cord, foot pedal, and instruction book
All feet that came with your machine
Piping foot (if you are going to make a piped collar)
Children's Corner Harper pattern
Fabric allowances per pattern
1/4 yard of fabric if you want to make a contrasting collar
1/2 yard of fabric if you want to make piping
1 yard of baby cording
Buttons (3/8 inch) 3 for romper back, 3 for crotch, 2 for boy's belt
Elastic (1/4") 3/4 yard
1/4 yard of fusible interfacing
Universal needle 70/10 or 80/12
50 weight cotton thread to match fabric
Scissors to cut fabric
Wash away marker
Pins you can iron over

(If you are going to be making your own piping, please bring your cutting mat and rotary cutter with a new blade).
