Serger Skillbuilder series - Machine Pad

This class series is designed for Baby Lock serger owners who want to truly get to know their machines. Join us to learn, create, be inspired and motivated, while expanding your skills in serging and sewing. Projects are specifically designed to help you become proficient with serger stitches, techniques, attachments and feet.

Beginners comfortable with threading their sergers for various stitches are welcome. 

8 thread serger in good working condition required.

We will be using our serger to create a custom machine pad designed for both beauty and function! In this hands-on class, you’ll create your custom designed machine pad using large block piecing for the top with several decorative stitches including the ladder stitch, the flatlock wave stitch and a satin stitch. The resulting pad will be unique to you and functional enough to also serve as a rolled tool bag. The final creation will include handy pockets to keep your most-used sewing tools right at your fingertips. The three-layer padded structure helps buffer noise and reduce vibration while you stitch—making for a smoother, quieter experience at your machine.

Cancellation policy: You must cancel more than 7 days prior to class for a refund. If you are unable to make class and you cancel within 7 days of the class, the class fee is non-refundable. If you are sick and let us know, you may transfer to another class with the same instructor. No shows will not be allowed to transfer.
