Robin Morris is a wife and mother of two who loves bringing her passion for sewing and embroidery to life. She’s been a “fabric” of the sewing community here in Madison since her mother Cathy taught her how to sew as a child. Together, they opened Cotton Blossom Fabrics as an online business in 2010 at the farm in Madison County.
“As a nurse practitioner, I never dreamed I would be running a business related to sewing and quilting. We laugh and say that now I "prescribe" sewing as therapy. What I am most proud of is the community that we have built here in Mississippi. We are surrounded by some of the most creative and inspirational people that we are honored to call customers and friends. Almost everyday, we see projects made with our fabric that are works of art. Embroidery is my true passion and I adore using our Baby Lock embroidery machines to create beautiful embroidery.” - Robin
Today, you can find Robin at the Shoppe on Hwy 51 helping customers craft with their wide selection of fabrics and sewing machines. When she’s not sharing her passion for sewing, she’s busy with her two kids and their many horses and animals.
Cathy Dixon Kelly is co-owner of the Cotton Blossom Fabric Shoppe. Cathy and her daughter, Robin, began their business as an online fabric shop and have expanded it to a 6500 square foot storefront in Ridgeland, Mississippi. 🧵💕
A retired psychologist, Cathy is also a wife, mother and grandmother. She and her husband live on Cotton Blossom Farm in Madison County, where they tend horses, donkeys, chickens and a milk cow! Her favorite sewing activity is creating anything for her grandchildren. 💝
